Biography

"He settled in his native town. He learned the joiner's trade, but did not follow it for any length of time. He became a prominent merchant and had the title of "Mr." He died at sea, leaving a good estate. "

The inventory of Mr. Jno Trowbridge was taken on 10 June 1689 and recorded at New Haven.^[4] His inventory included the homestead, warehouse, one-fourth of a vessel, the Pinke, and a mulatto girl."

On the bottom of the inventory, it records children: "John Trowbridg 9 years old; Ann Trowbridg 1 year old".^[4]
