Biography

William Trent gave land to his son Henry in 1762. [1]

He wrote a letter to George Washington, Mouth of Conicochig; January 21, 1756 (French and Indian War, 1754-1763, part of Seven Years' War). [2]

Ursula, wife of William, relinquished her dower right. She may have been a daughter of Samuel Branch. The Trents and Branches were closely linked by marriage. William’s aunt married Ursula’s uncle. His brother married her first cousin. Adventurers of Purse and Person said that she had no issue. Her first name is on a deed for land that William got from Francis Flournoy.

INFORMATION appears to come from import or merge of three different sources, all with slight differences, none with citations. I reformatted the page to highlight the conflicts, but did not change any of the information or attempt to resolve the conflicts.
