May Matilda Isabel Tomkins (married name Anderson) was born in 1895 in Mudgee, New South Wales, Australia, the daughter of Isabella (Neely) Tomkins and Charles Henry Tomkins.^[1]

She married Walter Charles Harcourt Anderson in 1920 in Annandale, New South Wales.^[2] Their children were:^[3][4]

In 1946, May and Walter were living at 168 Shaftesbury Road, Eastwood, New South Wales.^[5]

Walter died in May 1964.^[4]
