Warren Montgomery
It was believed that the census taker made an error. He heard Kansas when they said Canada. See my personal message to you, or read the profile for her husband, William Alexander Montgomery. Much of my information came from descendants of the family. Family tradition says that she was born in Canada, but census research points to the fact that she probably was born in Kansas.

This appears to be her with her husband and 3 sons in the 1931 Canada census at Raven, Alberta. It said she was born in the United States, without showing an exact location, and she immigrated to Canada in 1914:
