To His Excellency, The Right Honourable James, Earl of Elgin and Kincardine, Governor General Of Canada May it please your Excellency in Committee The petition of Levi Thompson, of the Township of Camden East, in the United Counties of Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, Yeoman, Respectfully showeth that your petitioner Levi Thompson is the sixth son of the late William Thompson late of The Township of Richmond, in the counties aforesaid, an United Empire Loyalist, deceased, that your Petitioner has never received any land or script in lieu thereof from the Crown as the son of said United Empire Loyalist. That the names and ages of your Petitioner’s Brothers and Sisters are as follows:

  • John Doney Thompson, 63
  • Andrew Thompson, 62
  • Alexander Thompson, 60
  • William Thompson, 54
  • Elizabeth Thompson, 52 1/2
  • Jane Thompson, 51
  • Douglas Thompson, 50
