With reference to Mary being the daughter of Robert Taylor - (said to be an Alderman and member of the Mercer's Company though not listed as I can find) - her baptism is recorded as 7th June 1555 at St Mary le Bowe but the burial of Mary daughter of Robert is recorded for 11 Dec 1563, also son Ambrose 24 Apr 1564, Mr Taylor's wife 26 April 1564 and daughter Katherine 20th July 1573. Are there other sources to confirm Mary is the daughter of Robert the Alderman and Mercer and the wife of Thomas Bennet Mayor of London?
