Biography

Robert Symonds was the 5x great Grandfather, of Richard Symonds, an antiquarian and Essex historian, whose three volume collections of Essex, held at the College of arms, includes a pedigree of Symonds. It tells us that this Rober Symonds was of Staffordshire, and that he married a daughter of .... Congrave of (Church) Stretton, Shropshire. It states that he was the son of Robert Symonds by his wife, a daughter of Congrave of (Church) Streeton. ^[1][2]
