Susanna Swift was born on 11 Feb 1652 in Milton, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Thomas Swift and Elizabeth Capen. She married Hopestill Clapp on 18 April 1672. ^{[1][2] [3]}Their children were Susanna, Elizabeth, Sarah, Hopestill, Ruth, Mary, Supply, Jerijah and Unite Clapp/Clap

He died on 2 March 1732 at age 80 years in Dorchester, Mass. ^{[4] [5]}
