Biography
Birth
- According to her death record, Sarah B. Sturtevant was born at Hartford, Maine, on 12 Jan 1842, the daughter of Thomas Sturtevant and Eveline (Doten) Sturtevant.[1] In 1850, she was living with her parents and four siblings at Hartford at the age of seven.[2]
Marriage
- Sarah B. Sturtevant married Benjamin F. Goding on 12 May 1861.[3]
Death
- Sarah B. Sturtevant died from mitral regurgitation at Canton, Maine, on 21 Sep 1916.[1] Her gravestone at the Lamb Cemetery in Livermore is inscribed with the dates 1843-1916.[4]
