Daniel was born on November 26, 1826 to Elizabethton, Carter County, Tennessee, to William Lincoln Stover and Sarah Murray Drake. He passed away on December 18, 1864 and was buried in the Fitzsimmons Cemetery in Elizabethton, Carter County, Tennessee. [1] FAG record has his military unit as FAG has Col. 4th Regt. Tennessee Inf. U.S. Vols, which fought for the Union.
