Mary Johnson Stover Brown was born May 8, 1832 in Greeneville, Greene County, Tennessee, the daughter of former United States President Andrew Johnson and Eliza McCardle Johnson.
Mary was twice married; first to Daniel Stover, who died during the Civil War; then to William Brown, whom she divorced after the deaths of her parents.[1]
Daniel and Mary were the parents of three children; [1]

Andrew Johnson Stover (1860-1923)
Mary passed away on April 19, 1883, and was buried in her family's cemetery in Greene County, Tennessee. [1]
