Biography

Charles McLeod Stewart was born on September 18, 1865, ,[1]in York, New Brunswick, Canada. He was the son of James Stewart and Anna Lyons his father, James, was 42 and his mother, Anna, was 33. He married Phoebe Jane Hallett on May 23, 1893, in Hartland, New Brunswick, Canada[2]. They had five children during their marriage. He died on May 8, 1942,[1] in Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 76, and was buried in the Coldstream Hillside Cemetery, Coldstream, Carleton County, New Brunswick, Canada.[3][4]
