Hi Robbin! Just wondering if you're aware of the Stewarts of Balquhidder Research Group is alive and well with a new website and very active Facebook group. Since you are a descendant of the Stewarts of Londonderry, New Hampshire, the Research Group is wondering if you've done any further y-DNA tests that might more precisely identify your Stewarts' place in the Royal Stewart genetic tree.
oh hi jared! your balquhidder group is what inspired me to get the 23andme test. that was years ago and i'm out of touch. perhaps you could drop me a line at gtbear at gmail with that contact info. i have not gotten more dna testing done, but i would not be opposed, now that i have some funds.

Mismatch-bunching Limit will be adjusted dynamically to 60 percent of the segment threshold size for any given segment.
Our line left Lorraine, France and settled in the small town of Lambsborn, Germany, where Dewalt was born. The last name Agne is still common in the area.
Dewalt's Ankeney'swill is filed in the Washington County records in Hagerstown Maryland. Interesting reading!
Dewalt and his two oldest sons (Christian and Peter) bought large tracts of lands in what is now Somerset County from the Pennsylvania government as soon as they were released for settling (there was an auction in Philadelphia). They would spend summers developing their properties, then return home to Maryland for the winter. Christian and Peter both fought in the Revolution, and their names are inscribed on the lists in the Valley Forge chapel (I have seen them).
I know the Jean Bonnet Tavern, but I didn't know the Ankney connection.
Robin, we appear to be cousins. 22 once removed. You are the first of this common ancestor cousin I have found. I thought our Stewards would be common.

Hi Robbin , I have posted below on my John Stewar and Charles Edward Stuart profiles , in the hope that someone who knows you can help withnote Robbin Stewart , with the DNA test at top is only showing because he has DNA to Charles Edward Stuart's Father, James Stuart ;
Robbin and Charles and John Stewart , would all have some same DNA ; as would I , however Robbin is not descended from Charles Edward Stewart , nor John Stewart , but I am. I have tried numerous times to request Robbin to load onto and get a Gedmatch number so we can compare, but he says he doesn't know how , would someone please guide him through the process, I believe Robbin's had his Autosomal done too. also if Robbin could do an autosomal transfer to FTDNA would be helpful for the Royal Stewart project , and dna matches

If you have a DNA Gedmatch would you please post it on your profile for others to see.
Many thanks.

We are 17th cousins once removed. (Thomas Stanley KG) Crazy, huh?!
I would like to be on your trusted list. Wiki Tree is amazing. I have learned so much family history in quite a short time.
Take care, Cuz!
