On February 14, 1905, William B. (age 24 - born in Bar Harbor, Maine and worked as a fireman), married Gertrude A. Meagher (age 21 - born in West Medford and at home), in Lexington, Massachusetts[2].
On July 20, 1905, William (worked as a fireman) and Gertrude gave birth to their son William L. Stanley, in Salem, Massachusetts[3].
On May 7, 1907, William and Gertrude's daughter (unnamed) passed away, of a Gastric Hemorrhage, on the same day she was born, at 33 Flint Street, in Salem, Massachusetts[4].
In 1910, William B. (age 30 - born in Maine and worked as a station agent for a steam railroad), lived on Lamanche Street, in Danvers, Essex County, Massachusetts, with his wife Gertrude A. (age 26 - born in Massachusetts), their son William L. (age 4 - born in Massachusetts) and their son Clarence R. (age 1 - born in Massachusetts)[5].
On September 12, 1918, William (age 38 - described as tall, medium build, black/gray hair and claimed to have two toes missing and worked as a locomotive engineer for Merrimac Chemical Company), registered for World War I[6].
In 1920, William B. (age 39 - born in Maine and worked as a stationary engineer for Chemical Works), lived at 39 Sturgis Street, in Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, with his wife Gertrude A. (age 35), their son William L. (age 14), their son Clarence R. (age 11), their son Elmer A. (age 9 - born in Massachusetts) and their son Leslie F. (age 7 - born in Massachusetts)[7].
In 1928, William (worked as a crane operator for G E Company/R W) and Gertrude, lived at 20 Murphy Avenue, in Lynn, Massachusetts[8].
In 1930, William (age 50 - worked as a crane operator in construction), lived at 12 Lawrence Street, in Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, with his wife Gertrude (age 46), their son William (age 24 - worked as a yard brakeman for a steam railroad), their son Elmer (age 19 - worked as a laborer for a chemical factory), their son Leslie (age 17 - worked as a tinsmith for automobile bodies) and their daughter Mary (age 8 - born in Massachusetts)[9].
William B. Stanley passed away in 1944 and was buried in Saint Mary's Cemetery, in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts[10].
