In 1930, Elmer (age 19 - born in Massachusetts and worked as a laborer in a chemical factory), lived at 12 Lawrence Street, in Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, with his father William (age 50 - born in Maine and worked as a crane operator in a construction company), his mother Gertrude (age 46 - born in Massachusetts), his brother William (age 24 - born in Massachusetts and worked as a Yard Brakeman in a Steam Railroad), his brother Leslie (age 17 - born in Massachusetts and worked as a Tinsmith for automobile bodies) and his sister Mary (age 8 - born in Massachusetts)[6].
In 1932, Elmer A. (worked as a gardener), lived at 634 Main, in Woburn, with his mother Gertrude A. and his brother Leslie F. (worked as a clerk)[7].
On August 6, 1932, Elmer (age 21) married Mary F. Spurling, in Maine[8].
During World War II (registration date not recorded), Elmer (age 30 - born in Danvers, Massachusetts and worked for Monsanto Chemical Company, on Chemical Lane, in Everett, Middlesex, Massachusetts and described as 5' 7" tall, either hazel or black eyes, 160 lbs., brown hair and a dark complexion), registered for World War II[9].
Elmer Augustus Stanley passed away on January 17, 1981, in Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts [10].
