When Jeduthan was 22 he married Abigail Brown on 13 August 1776 in , Windham, Connecticut, USA. The couple had 9 children: Mary Spencer, Elisha Spencer, Ichabod Spencer, John L. Spencer, Elizabeth Spencer, James H Spencer, Eunice Spencer, Elias Spencer and George Spencer.^{[2] [3]}

Jeduthan died at the age of 58 on 17 August 1812 in Scotland, Windham, Connecticut, United States.^[4][2]
