Biography

Hannah was born on 19th of June 1870 ^[1] at Richmond Township in Macomb County, Michigan. Her parents were Allen Spencer and Harriet Howe. ^{[1] [2]} She married, first, Charles Olin Franklin on the 16th of December 1896 ^[2] at Harrisville in Alcona County, Michigan. They were the parents of two daughters: Edna and Emily. Charles passed away on the 17th of September 1906 ^[3] at Wethersfield in Wyoming County, New York. Eleven years later, she married Edward Bradley Franklin on the 21st of February 1917 ^[4] at Wethersfield. Edward, a widower, was Charles' brother, who had lost his wife several years before. Hannah outlived Edward by twenty-one years, passing away on the 17th of April 1962 ^[5] at Elba in Genesee County, New York and was buried in the Union Park Cemetery at Wethersfield in Wyoming County, New York. ^[6]
