Seth Spencer was born on March 22, 1780 in Republic of Vermont, son of Charles Wright Spencer (1749–1838) and Zeruiah Wright (1756–1793).[1]

Seth (25) married Susannah Dyer (17) (born on January 22, 1788 in Shaftsbury, Bennington; daughter of Capt Charles Dyer Esq. and Susannah (Wright) Dyer) in 1806 in Shaftsbury, Bennington. Their children were:

In 1850, Seth (70) was in the household of Minerva Munroe in Bennington, Vermont. [5]

Seth died on August 8, 1853 in Shaftsbury, Bennington, Vermont, United States, aged 73. He was buried in Center Shaftsbury Cemetery, Shaftsbury Center, Bennington County, Vermont.[1]

Jehiel IS the son of Seth Spencer, who was born in Hartford County, Connecticut, in 1779, who was son of John Spencer, a native of New Hampshire.
