Biography

David was born on the 9th June 1820 the son of William Whitaker Spence (~1789 - 1847) and Margaret (Reid) Spence (1785 - ~1867), and he was christened on the 19th September 1821 at All Saints Church, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland.[1]
