Intend to move on to the Benoit line after that. At present, I've mostly added French members of the Crevier line before they came to Canada.

  • Paul Chisarik - I'm working primarily on my maternal grandmother's line which goes back to Cloutier, Dupont, Guyon, Jarousseau, Leblond, LeClerc, Lereau and Robin (among many others) and eventually ended up immigrating to Connecticut in the 1800's.
  • Sunny Clark - Immigrants from Europe to Nouvelle-France; connecting notable cousins to one another; Noelville denizens (Sudbury area, Ontario, Canada); collecting ancestral stories.
  • Bruce Codère - The Buteau's have my interest in all directions, and the connection to the Fortier's who have trickled down mostly in Quebec, though some left the province with fine traces. And others, so many others.
  • Deborah Collier - I am completing work on sources for the Generation 1 ancestor of the Réaume lineage - René Réaume. I have located and am writing the biography for the youngest Filles du Roi to marry (at the age of 13) in Quebec in 1665 - Marie Chevreau. I am attempting to find some reliable sources for the Pitre family (Jean-Baptiste, Joseph, Marie and Elisabeth Pitre Vandandaique) that have no sources.

I descend from many french Canadians on both sides of my family: Briere, Dufresne, Dubreuil, Jalbert, Forêt/Forest, Guilbault, Chevalier, and more.

J'arrive pas à comprendre comment je fais pour ajouter mon nom. Je suis toute nouvelle dans ce domaine alors j'ai beaucoup de choses à apprendre mais je suis prête à investir beaucoup de temps.

J'ai un nombre incroyable d'ancêtres qui sont arrivés très tôt, ce qui fait que je dois avoir des liens avec pas mal tout le monde ici. Mon arrière grand-mère maternelle est une Couture qui remonte du côté paternel à Guilaume. Du côté de mon père, il y a un certain Pierre Mivile dont j'ai vu le nom sur cette page. De toute façons, comme les ancêtres de mes parents remontent pas mal au début de la colonie, ils ont aussi des ancêtres communs. Évidemment, il n'y avait que 500 français en 1634

My wife is our family genealogist but I am entering her data into WikiTree. I am a Roberge and can trace my ancestry back to Pierre dit La Croix Roberge and his mother-in-law, Marie Triot Lefrançois who is a "filles à mariage."
