Genealogically Defined

Sarah Ann was born about 1832 in Margate, Kent, England[1] and baptised 18th November 1832 at St. John the Baptist, Margate, Kent, England, the daughter of William Solly (Blacksmith) & Maria Solly[2]

On the 17th July 1851, Sarah Ann married William Brett at St. Mildred, Canterbury, Kent, England. William Brett, bachelor, coachman of Rosemary Lane {Canterbury}, son of Harrett Brett (Coach Proprietor) and Sarah Ann Solly, spinster of Rosemary Lane, daughter of William Solyy (Blacksmith). Witnessed by Sam{ue}l White & Louisa Harrett[3]

Sarah Ann's first husband William Brett died aged 30 years, in 1857 and was buried 26th January 1857 at St. John the Baptist, Margate, Kent, England[4]

Sarah Ann Brett married William Stanner (a widower) in 1861 in Kent, England[5]

Sarah Stanner died in 1894 in Kent, England, aged 61 years[6]
