Biography

Henry Smith was one of the three young Black men shot and killed by police during the Orangeburg Massacre.^[1]

Henry Ezekiel Smith was born in 1949. He was the son of Elizabeth and David Washington Smith.^[2]

In the 1950 census Henry (age 1) was the grandson of Cecil Flader in Marion, Marion, South Carolina, United States.^[3]

On February 8, 1968, he was fatally shot by police officers during the Orangeburg Massacre.^[2]
