Maughold 18 05 The humble petition of Judith Hinds of the town of Ramsey Widow. Sheweth: That Cornelius Hinds late of the said town who was the husband of your petitione r departed this life on or about the 29th day ofDecember last past intestate. Thatthe estate of the said Cornelius Hinds consists of a variety of goods and effects which are of a perishable nature and whichrequired the immediate care and management of some person or persons. That your petitioner does not feel he rself authorized to meddle with the said estate until empowered by the Eccl Cou rt of this Isle of to take upon herself the management of the said estate in an y respect until clothed with authority so to do. In consideration whereof and for as much as the said Cornelius Hinds has norelative kin this Isle your peti tioner humbly prays that if our Reverence will be pleased to grant Letters of A dministration on the estate and effects of the said intestate unto your petitio ner as speedily as convenient and your petitioner will every pray. Ordered tha t the matters of this petition do come on to be heard before me at a court to b e holden in this parish of Kirk Bride on Saturday the 20th of January instant w hereof all proper persons and parties to have due and legal notice. Cornelius Hinds of the town of Ramse y having departed this life on or about the 29th day of Dec last past intestate andthis court having received intelligence thereof hath decreed his children n amely William, Edward, Ann, Mary, Jane, and Margaret Hinds co administrators of all and singular his goods chattels and effects movable and immovable whatever who being under age Judith their mother is sworn their guardian and supervisor asalso in trust for them to pay all the just debts of the intestate so far for thas the said goods and effects willextend and the law shall bind her and to return a perfect inventory of the saidestate to the registry of this court To these ends she hath given pledges in form of law namely Mr Wm Christian Senior Ballayounaige of the parish of Kirk Bride and John Voast of the town of Ramsey .
