Biography

Jane was born 4 OCT 1789. She was the daughter of David Smith and Maria Allen. She married Timothy Luce, Jr. on 5 or 10 May 1816 and they had two children Maria Allen Luce and Jirah Luce. She passed away on 25 Feb 1852 of 'consumption'. She and Timothy are buried at the Tisbury Village Cemetery, Tisbury, Dukes, Massachusetts. Monument inscription: " Jane Luce relict of Timothy Luce born 4 Oct 1789 died 26 Feb 1852"
