Deacon Francis Smith[2] was born 23 December 1658 in Reading, Middlesex, Massachusetts, son of John.[3]

He married Ruth Maverick 1 Mar 1679/80 in Reading.[4]

She died 27 Nov 1717 in her 63rd year.[5]

He died in Reading 14 November 1744.[6]

Francis Smith-13061 and Francis Smith-32537 appear to be the same person but are credited with having two different fathers named John Smith-14976 and John Smith-32539. It is unlikely that John Smith-32539 is the actual father of Francis Smith born in 1658 as John Rock Smith would only have been 7 years old when Francis was born. Would someone else please review the unmerged match and provide their input on which John Smith is Frances' father?
