Research Notes
1. Birthdate:
The baptism record is problematic. It clearly shows the baptism date as "3 May 1852" as it also applies to all the names on that page. The date of birth is shown as "22 Nov 1852" but this cannot be right, as the baptism took place in May 1852. Birth dates of some of the other children on that same page is shown to be in 1851 and it is therefore possible that Hendrina was also born in 1851. Date of birth is therefore shown as "about/uncertain " in the profile. - Added by Kobus Ttrichardt on 12 May 2022.
2. Birthplace:
Ben van Niekerk on 31 July 2017 showed the birthplace as "Pietermaritzburg, Natal Kolonie" but her Death Note shows it as "Transvaal". Now changed to ZAR Kobus Trichardt on 26/10/2022.

Do you have any sources for this profile? Or perhaps some research notes that explains any of the dates, or connections? There's a duplicate for Hendrina's spouse which I have proposed a merge for, but Hendrina's profile is a lot tougher as there are too many differences between her and her possible duplicate to propose a merge here. The rootssearch tool is great at helping to find sources, its found just above this message at the bottom of the right hand column...just click the words "RootsSearch for Hendrina Magdalena (Smit) Riekert". What the tool does is autofill the search fields and you select which website you'd like to search. Here's more info about the RootsSearch Tool.
I have added what I think could be a possible civil death to the comments on the duplicate profile, perhaps if you could take a look? If the two ladies are not duplicates, then perhaps the civil death belongs to this Hendrina?
Good luck 🍀 Let me know if there is anything that I could do to help. One idea might be to chat to one of the contributors of the possible duplicate, I definitely suggest speaking to Gert - his note suggests that he knew the family.

Is there any possibility that the death date is incorrect? I found this civil death, dated 23 Jul 1935.
