Sarah Slater was born on January 20, 1829 in Oxford, Worcester, Massachusetts, United States, daughter of John Slater (1805–1838) and Sarah Jenks Tiffany (1807–1859). [1]
Sarah (28) married Thomas Durfee (31) (born on February 6, 1826 in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island, United States; son of Job Durfee and Judith (Borden) Durfee) on October 29, 1857 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island.
