Biography

Guillaume (later William) Sisley was born in Dunkirk on 6 December 1799. He was the son of Thomas Sisley, native of Ivychurch, Kent, and Félicité Dagneau, native of Sedan.^[1] He married Felicia Sell on 26 march 1827 in Saint James the Apostle parish in Dover, Kent.^[2] He died on 5 February 1879 in Congy, at the age of 79. He was widowed at the time of his death.^[3]
