Biography

Everett was born 8 Apr 1913 in South Viking Township, Benson County, near Maddock ND to Clarence Simon and Amelia Bleisner. He was raised and educated in Benson County schools. He came to Devils Lake and was employed at Northern Feed and Seed prior to his induction into military service. He served with the US Army during WW2 in India. While there he helped service and fuel mostly B-24 Liberators flying missions between in and China, Burma, or other parts of SE Asia. Upon his discharge he returned to devils Lake and was employed in road and building construction until beginning employment with the ND National Guard at Camp Grafton in 1968. He retired in 1978. He married Hilda Harder on 9 Apr 1965 at Devils Lake. He was a member of Bethel Free Evangelical Church.
