Hi Again,

I sent you a check-in message a week ago about the Military and War Project to ask you about your continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project? If I do not hear from you by the same time next week, I will assume that you've moved on to other things. You are most welcome to re-join the project at any time.

Best wishes,

Mary~ Project Coordinator, Military and War Project

Richard thank you for replying to the Military and War check in by private email. The leader will remove the project badge from your page. Remember you are always welcome to rejoin the project. Just go to the Military and War g2g posting and reply there with an ANSWER.

Hi

It's time for a six month Military and War Project check-in with all members. Have you been active in the last six months? Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the Military and War Project that you respond to these check-ins. To make bookkeeping easier, just click Reply to this message on your own page, add your reply, then SAVE. I look forward to hearing from you..

Many thanks,

Hi Richard, it's been a couple of weeks since asking if you wished to remain in the US Civil War Between the States Project. I'd appreciate you letting me know by the end of February if you desire to remain in the Project. If I haven't heard from you by then, I'll assume you no longer wish to participate. I hope to hear from you soon, thank you.

I'm doing a check-in with all project members and wanted to verify that you're still interested in being a member of the project. Also, any suggestions for the Project would be welcome. Hi Richard,

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted". You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up GEDCOM biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

Debi

PS If you have any GEDCOM cleanup to do, there is a new tool that can help. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.

I am in the process of finding as many freely available sources of evidence as I can. As I find these, I will continue to add them to my tree.

Once I reach a good point there I will begin writing biographies for everyone.

Hi Richard,

Thanks self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Collaboration with Pre-1700 Project members is essential for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because those ancestors are usually shared by many descendants.

It looks like the United States Project would be a good fit based on your branch of WikiTree. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Do you have any questions? Let me know by using the "reply" link under my comments or by clicking my name to visit my profile. From there you can leave a comment or send a private message. . I'm happy to help! :-)

Hi Richard

Please would you amend your Last Name at Birth to Silcox. The Jr should go in the Suffix field.

Many thanks

Hi Richard, I don’t think it is fixed, since your profile ID is still Silcox,_Jr.-1

You need to Edit the ‘Last Name At Birth’ field. And click ‘Save Changes’ once complete.

Many thanks Wendy
