Biography

Elias was born on August 9, 1794 in Frederick county, Virginia. He was the son of Abraham Shriver and Mary Kackley.

He passed away from an inflammation of the kidney on March 12, 1860 in Wayne County, Iowa^[1]. He is buried in the Shriver-HIgley Cemetery near Clio in Wayne County^[2]. A memorial can be found on Find A Grave.
