Biography

Maud Short was born about 1913. She is the daughter of German Short and Bertha Soper. In 1935 she was living with her parents at Hant's, Harbour, Newfoundland.^[1] She married Harvey Pitcher about 1944. They were listed on the 1945 census at Winterton, Newfoundland with a son, age 0 years.^[2] Maud passed away in 1991 and is buried in the Salvation Army Cemetery at Winterton.^[3]
