Obituary.
THE LATE JOHN SHAW.
Another old Bunbury resident, in the person of Mr John Shaw, passed away at his residence in Clifton St. on Thursday night. The deceased, who was 75 years of age, was born in Argylshire, Scotland, and lived in Western Australia for twenty two years. He leaves a widow and seven sons to mourn his loss. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at 3 p.m.. The remains were interred in the Anglican portion of the new cemetery, Canon Adams conducting the service. The funeral arrangements were in the hands of Messrs W. Brittain and Son. Mr Shaw sent four sons to the front, three of whom, Capt. Charles, Lieut. Tom, and Sergt. Sept., have returned. The fourth son, Archie, is still on active service. [2]
