Unlike a lot of websites, when you receive messages on WikiTree, you're actually hearing from a real person. :-)
Please leave messages from the Greeters Project on your profile for at least a month, so that other Greeters know that you've been properly welcomed. Let me know if you have questions.
I did get welcome messages, but don't like unnecessary messages to be kept, I am weird like that. Sorry if I deleted them from before, I will try my best to leave this one, but no promise.
Hi David, thank you for replying. I understand that you do not want unnecessary messages. In this case, they are necessary for now. We ask that you leave the messages for the first 30 days after you join. This tells other Greeters that you have been properly welcomed. If you remove them, then another Greeter may repost the message not knowing that it was done before. If you would please leave it for 30 days from the time that you joined, I would really appreciate it. It will also keep you from receiving repeated messages.
