Biography

Will was born in 1925 in Anderson County, Texas. He was the son of John Selman and Frances Davis. In 1954, he married Dorris Ann Brooks. They had no children. Bill retired as vice president in administration for Chicago and Northwestern Transportation. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Palestine Texas. He was also a member of Kiwanis Club, former president of the Palestine Chapter of the American Red Cross, former trustee of the Illinois Baptist Association, former trustee of the Southern Baptist Sunday School Board, and former chairman of the Freight Claims Division of the American Association of Railroads. Bill passed away in 1996.
