Biography

Samuel Ezeckiel "Hezekiah" Sedgman was born on 15 May 1846 in Redruth, Cornwall, England, son of Mary (Hill) Sedgman and Michael Sedgman.^{[citation needed]}

He was christened on 15 March 1846.^{[citation needed]}

Samuel Ledgman age 1, emigrated to Australia with his parents Michael and Mary, and siblings Richard, Wm Henry, John, Frederick, Elizabeth and Michael, on the Cheapside, arriving in Victoria in August 1848. ^[1]

He was married to Eliza Martha Allamby in 1869 in Colony of Victoria^[2].
