Biography

William was born to Patrik and Maidgeri Schott. He was baptized 1689 October 13th with no witnesses named ^[1]. His siblings are Elizabeth ^[2], Margriet ^[3], Catharina ^[4], Anna ^[5], Susanna ^[6], and Jaems ^[7].

William was elected constable for the north ward of Dutchess County in 1724 ^[8], and was reelected in 1725 ^[9].

His children with Lena Kool are Geertruy and Lea ^[10].

With a license, Willem was married 1734 February 2nd by Domine Vas to Mary Humphreys ^[11].

Willem witnessed the baptisms of his nieces, Beeletjen Kool ^[12], Meserie Schot ^[13], and Maria Schut ^[14].

William's brother, James, named him as one of executors of his will ^[15].
