Biography

Catharine Schaefer is the daughter of Johann Schaefer & Bridgeta aka Brigita Hauss

Catharina Schaefer was the first wife of Johann Pulvermacher. They were married at St Stephan Catholic Church in Nachtsheim, Dist. Mayen, Rhineland, Germany. The names of their parents are recorded in the marriage record. Catharina and Johann were the parents of three sons who were born in Munk, Dist. Mayen, Rhineland. Their births and baptisms are recorded at St Stephan Catholic Church in Nachtsheim. After Catharina died, Johann Pulvermacher later married 2. Susanna Hensges at St Stephan Catholic Church in Nachtsheim on 26 June 1731. Susanna died on 8 April 1744, her death is recorded in the church records at St Stephan Catholic Church in Nachtsheim.

Catharina died in Munk, Dist. Mayen, Rhineland, she was the mother of three known children. Widower Johann Pulvermacher later married Susanna Hauss at St Stephan Catholic Church in Nachtsheim on 26 June 1731.
