Anna Maria Sauter was born 11 May 1817 at Wittenberg, Bessarabia, Russian Empire, Ukraine, daughter of Karl Georg Sauter (1777–1852) and mother unproven (see Research Note); married 1st 21 Jan 1836 at Wittenberg, Bessarabia, Russian Empire, Ukraine to Adam Bross Sr. (also spelled "Brost," and "Brosz" in some following generations), born 12 Apr 1814 in Groembach, Laznow, Poland, died at Alt Postaal, Bessarabia, Russian Empire, Ukraine 27 May 1844, son of Johann Adam Bross (1759-1811) and Agatha Kalmbach (1771- );^[1] she married 2nd on 3 Jun 1845 at Tarutino, Akkerman, Bessarabia, Russian Empire, Ukraine to Johann Georg Mogck, born 21 Apr 1825 at Alt Postal, Bessarabia, Russian Empire, Ukraine, died there 24 Jan 1852, son of Heinrich Mogck (1797-1880) and Katharina Magdalena Mueller, (1798–1878);^[2] burial information not identified.

Research Note

The mother of Anna Maria Sauter has not yet been proven - several online sites claim her mother to be the second wife of her father Christiana Regina (Heinzel) Sauter (1778–1854), but there is no prove death date of his first wife, Maria Braun, (b. abt 1777 in Poland, last confirmed recoded child bapt. in 1816 at Wittenberg, Bessarabia, Ukraine (then Russia).
