L,

You submitted a profile mgt request to the US Southern Colonies project for William Younger-629, writing: "There is more than one William Younger in Halifax County, Virginia during this time period. I have seen family trees which conflate this William with the son of Younger-45, and have spent considerable time working on him, so would like the project to consider managing his profile.".

We would be happy to do so, but a research note by you on the profile explaining the above and linking to the other William Youngers would go a long way to helping the project make the case for co-management to the current profile manager. Otherwise it's not clear from the current narrative why he project would come in. Many thanks.

Thanks Jillaine, I have added a note in the research notes section of Younger-629. This is my first time making such a request, I hope my note is what you had in mind.

Perfect; I've asked the project's leader to add project co-management and protection to both profiles.

Hi L,

Thanks for taking responsibility for more Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" and "manager." You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.

If you will be working with any profiles needing GEDCOM cleanup, the AGC tool can help with formatting so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources; find or merge duplicates; clean up GEDCOM or merged biographies; or interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

Many thanks for adding to the records of the Price family of Cumberland County. Members of this family were at times confused with my Price family line of Shenandoah County. Hopefully the added documents will eliminate some of the confusion that exists for these families. DStone

Hi L Sauls, are you interested in a New Jersey project? You may find the following helpful. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Sources-New_Jersey

Hello L

Good evening from sunny Nottingham, England. Thanks for looking at the sources to show that the two Ralph Burt Callens are the same person and should be merged. There are lots of good references on that Family Search page. I'm happy to do the merge and clean up the bio if you put those references in. There's lots to make a fab profile there for Ralph and his family. Best Wishes Jo
