The next Connect-a-thon will be from 8 am Friday, April 12 to 8 am Monday, April 15th. I hope you will be able to join us. We are again using the new way to register we that was inaugurated in January. This link will take you to the post for the Mid-Atlantic Team:
Thanks for your contributions to Puritan Great Migration (PGM) project profiles.
Like all WikiTree projects we check in with team members periodically to find out about their continued interest in the project. Would you please respond by February 5, 2024, to let us know about your interest:
1. Would you like to continue as a PGM project team member?;
2. Do you have any suggestions for PGM Project priorities in the next year (optional)?;
3. Do you have interest in taking a more active role within the PGM project, and if so, what you might be interested in doing (optional)?
I note you added Benjamin Burr, a pre-1700 PGM-managed profile, as father of Elisha Burr (abt.1637-1720). But I don't see any reliable source for this addition. And there's a comment on Elisha's profile stating that he's not Benjamin's son.
I'm disconnecting them for now, but if you can supply a reliable source for this relationship please let us know via the comments on Benjamin's profile.
Can you believe it is time for another Connect-a-thon? It will run from 8 am EST Friday, January 19th to 8 am EST Monday, January 22nd. I hope you will join us. Registration ends on Wednesday, January 17th at midnight EST. Registration is a little different this time around. You have to find the post for your team and reply to that post. Hi Dawnmarie, our November Challenge went really well, all of the Officers have been connected to the One World Tree, and 69 of the Officers had their CC7 numbers increased. Thank you for all the research you did, and for all the profiles you created and connected for the Challenge. You had a total of 151 entries on the Challenge Tracker.
Dawnmarie (Sander) Cecora created profiles in November 2023 US Civil War Project Pick-a-Battle Notable Officers Challenge.
Welcome to Team Massachusetts. For any -Thon, we strive to connect, clean, source, and generally improve profiles from Massachusetts. That doesn’t mean profiles from other places are excluded. Our primary goal is to improve any WT profile. Let’s have some fun this weekend making lots of connections.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles!
It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
