Hannah Salter (Lincoln) (Salter-71) is NOT the wife of Mordecai Lincoln. She is the wife of John Lincoln, Together they are the parents of Thomas Lincoln and the grandparents of Abraham Lincoln.

Mary Robeson (Robeson-347) is the wife of Mordecai Lincoln (Lincoln-281).

This is a protected project profile so I'm not going to touch it. Members of the project need to make these corrections.

No, this is likely incorrect. According to a genealogical chart displayed at the Lincoln Birthplace National Park, the lineage in question is this:

Mordecai Lincoln (1686-1736 m. Hannah Salter (1692-1727)

John Lincoln (1716-1788) m. Rebekah Flowers (1720-1806)

Captain Abraham Lincoln (1744-1796) m. Bathsheba Herring (1748-1836)

Thomas Lincoln (1778-1851) m. Nancy Hanks (1784-1818)

Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) m. Mary Todd (1818-1882)

I have a photo of the chart.

Why is this person, despite quite good evidence, not listed as 'confident' of her parentage?
