Maude Rutherford died young.

Maude was born in 1898. She is the daughter of Thomas Rutherford and Almira Scott. She died in 1924 from a pulmonary embolism. Informant at her death was her brother Dr. Scott Rutherford.^[1]

Miss Maude Rutherford Dies; Tillsonburg, July 6- Miss Maude Rutherford died at the family home Saturday evening after an illness of several weeks duration. She was a very popular young lady and was forced to give up her school near Windsor some three months ago. The family have certainly passed through deep sorrows the past eight weeks, as this is the fourth death in the family circle. May 1, the wife of Roy Rutherford expired suddenly while assisting her husband with the chores on the farm near Delmer. On June 13, Mrs. Thomas Rutherford passed away, and the shock caused the death of her husband on June 23. The funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon with the internment in the Delmer Cemetery.^[2]

Maude died on her brother Jack's 33rd birthday.
