George married Violet Mary Nelson (born in 1891 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom; daughter of William Edward Nelson and Margaret (Hope) Nelson) on 20 Apr 1914. Their known son was Michael Richard Bernard Rowley (1915–1952). They were divorced in 1920.
George married Sylvia Mary Yeatherd Priestley (born on 4 May 1911 in St Neots, Huntingdonshire, England, United Kingdom; daughter of Percy William Priestley and Alice Constance (Yeatherd) Priestley) in 1934.[2] Their known daughter was Rosabelle Rowley
George died in 1971 in Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, England, United Kingdom, aged 71.
