Biography

George Fydell Rowley (1851-1933) was the son of George Dawson Rowley & his wife Caroline Frances née Lindsay. He appeared in 1871 U.K. census in his grandfather's household. He married on 30th September 1884, Alice Nina, eldest daughter of Sir Vincent Corbet, Bt., of Moreton Corbet, Co. Salop, They had two sons: Owsley Vincent Fydell Rowley and George Richard Frances Rowley. He appeared on the 1891 U.K. census for Morcott Hall, Morcott, Rutland, England; Occupation: Living On Own Means. He appeared on the U.K. Census 1901: Living with his wife Alice, son Owsley and 8 house servants in Priory Hill, St Neots, Huntingdonshire, England. Aged 47. He appeared on the 1911 U.K. census at St Neots, S Neots, Huntingdonshire, England. He died at Priory Hill of St Neots on October 22, 1933. He was buried 27 October 1933 at St. Neots, Huntingdonshire, England.
