Biography

Mary Ann Roush was born in July 1861, a daughter of Henry H. Roush (1830–1916) and Eliza Anna Dauberman (1828–1906). They lived on a farm in Washington Township, Snyder County, Pennsylvania.^[1]

She married Simon P. Geise (1859-1927) in about 1880. They had a farm in Union Township, Union County, Pennsylvania. Their children included:

In 1930, a few years after her husband's death, her youngest daughter, Pauline, and son-in-law, Harry Forrey, were living with her. Harry was working as a textile worker to support them.^[2]

By 1935 she had moved to New Berlin and was living with her daughter Hilda and husband Lamont Musser.^[3]

Mary Ann passed away from a stroke in her home in July 1945, two weeks after her 84th birthday.^[4]
