Ivette de Ros was the daughter of William de Roos, Knt., of Ingmanthorpe, Yorkshire, and his wife Eustache Fitz Ralph.[1] Her date and place of birth are unknown and are estimated.
Ivette married before 1312, as his first wife, Geoffrey le Scrope, K.B., second son of William le Scrope, Knt., and Constance, daughter of Thomas Fitz Gille. Geoffrey was a Trier of Petitions in Parliament, Justice of the Common Pleas and Chief Justice of the King's Bench.[1][2]
Geoffrey and Ivette had five sons and three daughters:[3]
Henry, Knt., 1st Lord Scrope of Masham, born 29 September 1312, died 31 July 1391, married Joan ____ and had issue[1]
In 1323, Ivette's brother, William de Ros, granted to Ivette and Geoffrey the manors of South Muskham and Carleton, Nottinghamshire.[1]
Ivette's date and place of death are unknown, however, her husband remarried before 1331 to Loretta (or Lora) de Furnival. There were no children from Geoffrey's second marriage and he died at Ghent in Belgium on or about 2 December 1340.[1]

↑ Some writers say there is a lack of documentary evidence for this marriage. If it's correct, we might expect to find a dispensation for the marriage of Geoffrey's granddaughter Isabel le Scrope to Sir Robert de Plumpton, whose grandmother Lucy de Roos was Yvette's sister. Note: No mention of dispensation for the marriage in Richardson's Royal Ancestry Vol. IV, p. 389 PLUMPTON #10. MedLands has Geoffrey marrying "Ivette, daughter of ____".
