Anne Eliza Robeson was born on July 10, 1833 in Chesterfield, South Carolina, United States, daughter of Thomas William Robeson (1809–1871) and Mary Ford (1813–1888).

Anne (17) married George Washington Spencer (24) (born on March 8, 1826 in Cheraw, Chesterfield; son of Oliver Hawes Spencer and Sarah Jane Adams (Causey) Spencer) in 1851 in Chesterfield. Their children were:

Anne died on October 5, 1915 in Chesterfield, aged 82. She was buried in Evans Family Cemetery, Chesterfield, Chesterfield County, South Carolina.[1] [2]
