Jacob served in the 1st Regiment (Sutton's) of the Ohio Militia in the War of 1812.[1]

Jacob was born in 1790. He passed away in 1861.

Retter-90 and Retter-115 appear to represent the same person because: Jacob Retter is known to be the father of my great, great grandfather, Emanuel Retter. I apparently created a new listing when I meant to add a child to your listing.
