Catherine Mary (Reitz) Byerly was born on 5 Nov 1843 in Pennsylvania, United States, daughter of Jonathan Reitz (1806–1886) and Catharine (Schmidt) Reitz (1806–1889).
Catherine died on 2 Oct 1897 in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 53. She was buried in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Ohl, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.[1]
Catherine married Henry Byerly (born on 19 Feb 1829 in Line Mountain, Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland, Pennsylvania, United States; son of John Ludwig Byerly and Elizabeth (Beisel) Byerly). Their known son was Aaron F. Byerly (1862–1933).
